Common questions
What does a school platform cost?
Every platform is quoted. Tell us which parts of the school day it needs to cover — enrolment, attendance, reporting, wellbeing — and we come back with a price and exactly what it covers.
How long does a build take, and when should we start?
It depends on the scope, and on how the work fits around your school year. We plan it with you, including when it can go live without disrupting a term, rather than publish a number we would have to walk back.
Will you host it, or can it run on our own infrastructure?
That varies by school. Some want it on our AWS in Sydney; others have their own infrastructure, or a system or department policy that decides it. We scope hosting and support together with the build.
Can it work with the systems we already use?
That depends on the systems and what they allow. We look at what you use now while scoping, and tell you plainly what can be connected before we quote.
How is student data protected, and where is it stored?
If we host it, it runs on AWS in Sydney, so the data stays in Australia. Who can see what, how backups work and how long records are kept are agreed with you in writing, because every school's obligations are different.
What happens when we need changes later?
Support is scoped per platform rather than sold as one plan, so it matches how much your school expects to change and when.
